spanish program Goals & highlights

We are committed to providing a holistic education that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit. Part of this commitment includes offering a comprehensive Spanish Language Program that spans from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th Grade.  Our program is designed to equip students with the language skills, cultural awareness, and values that will serve them well in an increasingly interconnected world.

Program Goals:

  1. Spanish Proficiency: Our primary goal is to provide an environment that results in students who can effectively communicate in both English and Spanish. We aim to foster listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Spanish.

  2. Cultural Competence: In addition to language proficiency, our program aims to instill cultural competence. Students will gain an appreciation for the rich diversity of Spanish-speaking countries, their customs, traditions, and history.

  3. Spiritual Formation: As a Catholic school, we integrate Catholic values and teachings into our Spanish program. Students will learn how to incorporate these values into their daily lives and interactions within a global context.
