DAD’S Club
SJS DAD’S CLUB MISSION
Fostering camaraderie AMONG DADS & FATHER FIGURES while raising THE ESSENTIAL FUNDS to support SJS students.
SJS DAD’S CLUB OVERVIEW
Established in 1996, the Dad’s Club has been an important ally to St. John the Baptist Catholic School. The group consists of a vibrant community of current SJS fathers, and father figures, who are passionate about making a positive impact on our school’s growth and success.
As a proud partner to the school, the Dad’s Club operates independently - yet in alignment with - the school's mission. With a fee-per-event model, the club coordinates a diverse range of events and activities throughout the year. Poker Night, Liar’s Dice Tournament, Crab Feed, and Mayacama Golf Tournament are just a few of the gatherings, all aimed at fostering camaraderie among dads while raising essential funds to support the students. These grants have supported various initiatives, all of them with a significant impact. Some more recent projects have included the purchase of SMART boards for each classroom, new lockers for the middle schoolers and state of the art drinking fountains. The SJS Dad’s Club mission and philosophy reflects their intention to build long-term connections, but more importantly to aid the school administration in their quest to leave a lasting legacy for future generations.
Whether you're a seasoned member or a new face, you're welcome to join at any point during the year or participate in specific events that resonate with you. Together, we're not only assisting in the educational journey of our children but also forging friendships that will stand the test of time.
Join us in making a difference that truly matters.
