The Resource Center is dedicated to supporting the St. John community through classroom and individual student support services, which are a reflection of our Catholic faith.

We are committed to providing a learning environment that is safe, inclusive and welcoming for all students. It is our goal to empower the students of SJS to become more responsible and independent learners and to help each child reach their ultimate potential.

Our experienced resource staff has designed the resource program to meet students where they are in their academics. Their goal is to help our school community to become successful in all areas, actively supporting the students learning process through the development of critical thinking skills, and gaining independence in school and daily life.

The hope and vision of The Resource Center is to support all students who need instruction through direct, specialized group, or individual coaching.

We strive to meet the special education needs of the students with specific learning differences, social/emotional needs and speech or language challenges through the resources available at our learning center. While many of these tools and supports are available and utilized during school hours, there are some that only have availability after school and are a pay-per-service model. These may include special education teacher support services, resource room, speech and language therapy, and social/emotional skills support.
