SJS Presents the WIZARD OF OZ

Transporting the enchanting tale from page to stage, the Raven Theater hosted SJS’s captivating production of “The Wizard of Oz”. Against the backdrop of the theater’s familiar ambiance, students in grades Tk – 8th brought the iconic story to life, whisking the audience away on a magical journey down the yellow brick road. With vibrant costumes, captivating musical numbers, and a cast brimming with enthusiasm and energy, the production breathed fresh life into a timeless story, delighting both the young and the young at heart.

Spring 2023 Production

After taking a break for a few years, SJS is proud to have put on an incredible rendition of “Wizard of Oz” in the spring of 2023. This cast put on 6 shows over two weekends, with two sets of leads. It was an amazing experience for the students who participated and a truly magical performance to witness. We look forward to partnering with The Raven Theater again in 2024 – though the chosen story is yet to be named.

School leadership encourages students to participate in any an all parts of production including backstage, lights and sound and make-up. It is truly an opportunity to explore theater from every angle and at every age.
