Our Curriculum

The curriculum at St. John the Baptist School includes national standards, state standards and Diocesan standards and guidelines.

Students in grades TK through 8th grade are involved in many activities aimed at mastering their grade level concepts so that when they graduate from St. John School, they are equipped with the tools they need to succeed in high school, college and beyond.

Our educators also recognize that the concepts taught in Common Core Curriculum for Language Arts can also be reinforced across other curriculum areas such as social studies, math, and/or science. By integrating the curriculum concepts into other subject areas, students can make deeper connections and become critical thinkers and lifelong learners.

Our core curriculum includes:

  • Math
  • Language Arts
  • Religion
  • Science
  • Science Lab for 6th–8th grades
  • Social Studies
